Does anyone use this 'historical data service' that I vaguely remember Betfair had at some point?

I'm thinking of collecting a fair bit of data from Betfair to investigate some trading ideas, but they are probably not going to like me making 60 API calls per second for the next month without making any bets.

then place some bets, £2 lay at 1.01...

low liabiliy per market and should break even +/- a bit If you do 1000's of markets.

Interesting, I thought there was an official Betfair historical data service, but I will take a look at this, thanks.

also betfair has some historical data but, iirc, they are not really suitable for back-testing a bot. Please let us know what you'll find out

That is Cran's handy work.

Recently updated, cheers dude.

No problem, I'll try and remember to get an update done at the beginning of January so all of the 2014 data is there.

I am away the first two weeks, so it might be middle of January before it gets done.
